Journal of Peace Research (JPR) is an interdisciplinary and international peer reviewed bimonthly journal of scholarly work in peace research. Journal of Peace Research strives for a global focus on conflict and peacemaking. The journal encourages a wide conception of peace, but focuses on the causes of violence and conflict resolution. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Open Call for 2021 Special Issue of the Journal of Peace Research

JPR publishes annual special issues on topics of high relevance to the field of peace research, and is now soliciting proposals for the 2021 special issue. We welcome issues on topics that significantly advance the research frontier of the field, with a focus on causes and consequences of violence, conflict prevention and resolution, and nonviolent action.The deadline for submitting proposals is 3 May 2019, and the decision will be made the following month.
